First post in BlogEngine.NET 1.5

This is my first blog post using BlogEngine.NET 1.5. I've looked at several blog applications including Microsoft's forthcoming Oxite, dasBlog and Wordpress and frankly this just seemed a no-brainer:

  • Setup was incredibly easy;
  • It supports XML and SQL Server 2000/2005 as data stores;
  • The code is open source; and
  • It's .NET and I love .NET

So I guess I should mention that ... the offical site is www.dotnetblogengine.net but the ongoing development of BlogEngine.NET can be followed at CodePlex.
